Lowering question
So I have never had this problem before, but based on the width of the ZX14, my feet barely touch the ground. This isn't a problem for street riding, but I am concerned that this will make it difficult for me at the drag strip. I probably only need to lower the bike 1 -1.5 inches. I want to order the Brocks drag package, however I don't want to have to strap the front. What would be my best option to lower the front without straps? If this bike was for drag racing only, I wouldn't care and I would just slam it to the ground, but I would still like to have a good handling bike.

I've got a bad feeling you're going to wheelie if you don't strap the front. You only strap it during a pass so it shouldn't have a negative effect on the bike when riding it anywhere. We slid the forks through the tree an inch also in addition to strapping it on our 14 even though Sam had no problem sitting flatfooted on it stock. It just makes it so much easier to control wheelstands with it strapped. Get a flat pan on it as soon as possible if you lower it at all.

Good advice! Especially about the oil pan!!!
We run a strap on ours 24/7. If we're at the track we tighten it down to where there is only about 1.5inches of travel left. When on the street we loosen it off where it has no affect on the handling of the bike.
