gsxr 1100 1200 PRO STREET DRAG BIKE - $6499 (Pville)
1991 frame
1993 GSX-R1100 COBY ADAMS BUILT motor
Bored out to 1200cc!!!!!!!
custom ground cam
HUGE drag race only Kiehin carbs
11.5:1 compression
ARP head studs
Ported and Polished Head
Larger Valves
Balanced and Blueprinted Motor
Balanced Crank
Heavy Duty Piston Rods
Dynojet coils and ignition
(etc etc etc etc etc etc etc)

Custom Vance and Hines exhaust from gs1100 (debaffled and drilled)
Custom Rims (expensive and hard to find. everyone who knows drag bikes knows exactly what they are)

The motor is set up and carbs jetted for a 200 shot of No2 which would put this bike at 400hp if installed. admittedly, it idles and revs harshly without NOS. again, THIS IS A PURPOSE BUILT DRAG BIKE not a road bike, (it had an air shifter on it just before i bought it and i will throw in the ignition cut off that was on it.)so the engine is supposed to have two speeds. OFF, and REDLINE. anything between is just to get you to the starting line. but it DOES run reliably, and i've put about 600 miles on it since we built it.

This bike has a 10" stretched swing arm on it and a brand new front tire. Rear tire was a pull off from another race bike to get it road legal. (Pilot 1) (will give you the drag slick that came with it if you want it)

Frame color is Black and Black Chrome under Candy Apple Red with Holographic Pearl -POWDER COATED- and then a layer of Ultra Gloss CLEAR Powder Coat, done in house by ME in my PROFESSIONAL shop

Tank, fairing, cowl etc, are a one off custom black with special order Harley Davidson blue, green, and burghandy pearl.

I can't even express how well this bike shines and sparkles in the sunlight when it's clean, polished and waxed.

This bike is titled in MY name, is my personal bike, is registered, inspected, insured and (barely) street legal.

This was Coby Adam's personal bike, which he built and raced across the United States, and even took to the Texas Mile on a few occasions and found it's way through the drag racing community to ME in a box of parts and pieces. We powder coated it, painted, it, assembled it, made a wiring harness (solder and shrink tube NOT butt connectors) got it running, and i've been riding it.

Reason for selling: Flat out, i need to buy another truck. my camaro cannot haul bikes. i own a bike shop and need to be able to haul bikes! I will not accept trades, -just cash- (except for a corvette, Model A roller with title, Model T roller with title, or some rat rod that isn't far from running with title.)

in the current gearing, it will run the 1/8 mile in 5.2 to 5.8 at anywhere from 120 to 135mph depending upon rider's weight, and 1/4 mile in low 8's.. (lets see a stock zx-14 do that)

With 2 teeth up on the front sprocket, it will exceed 200mph without No2, AS IS... WITH NOS it should do about 220mph give or take (again, depending on rider's weight, and the size of their b*lls)

This bike IS faster than a hayabusa or a zx-14 and i have other pro drag racer references who can verify this, have taken it down the track, and have seen coby race it on several occasions. and i guarantee you that if you go to Little River Dragway, or Houston, or anywhere else and ask the riders if they "remember the coby adams GSX-R1100" they will know EXACTLY the bike, and will bust a n*t when they figure out that THIS is the same bike. Last time i went out there, everyone told me they wanted it. (in fact i may take it out this weekend and try to sell it)

It is technically 20 years old and still needs a few minor things, but nothing that the average shade tree mechanic can't handle. (putting blinkers on it if wanted, lube the chain, put front brake pads on it, set up suspension for rider's weight, add a steering damper if wanted, all easy stuff that i just haven't gotten around to) But like all works of art, it's never "completed", rather, given up on and left alone. and... this one is TRULY a one of a kind work of art. Must see to appreciate. the photos don't do it any justice what-so-ever.

This bike is scary fast and i -will not......i repeat WILL NOT sell it to a beginner rider. even with a 10 inch stretch, with a drag slick on it, it still pulls the front wheel up with me on it. (i'm 185 pounds).. without a drag slick, it spins the tires through 1st and second gears when the tire is cold. by then you're at about 105mph going into 3rd.

prostreet bike ... 6.90's is gonna be hard to get out of this thing ..

I am gonna have to bullshit on this bike. So this guy says this bike has 200HP on motor with 11.5 compression, yeah right. I would pay money to see this thing run 5.20's with a 10 stretch. It's a shame my 14 isn't running or I would run this bike since its faster than a Busa or ZX14 and see just how fast he thinks it is.
