Call out to all the clutch gurus
Ive been playing with an idea which is relativily simple in function with some form of adjustability. Instead of depending on a lock up or multistage or slider to get the clutch to slip in a timely fashion, why not use a CLUTCH DELAY VALVE. It would be mounted inline to the slave cylinder with some kind of needle jet to close and open the orfice for delay speed. This would essentially manipulate clutch slip speed. Maybe even design something progressive to emulate the initial snap and then slide. I know several late model vehicles are using them for ease of use.
I would like to hear from the gurus, what you think, has it been attempted/done, or is just a silly idea.

Would love to see a write-up with pictures on this! Where exactly would you put the restrictor/nitrous jet?

I dont know anyone that uses a clutch set up like that anymore...
The abuse one would get for that set up would be harsh...lol...Why wouldnt you want to learn to have a good clutch hand ???

would imagine the abuse would be like a engine driven multi stage lock up, which is relatively low. The wheel driven lock ups would burn more fibers. Im now looking for a fluid control valve found in the local hydraulic shops, and will be giving it a try.
P.S. No problems hand clutching 1.31s all day, but its good to be different.
