loosing power

Last weekend bike ran great . This weekend after third pass it started falling on its face about 9500 up . Seemed like after the 8thmile you could see and feel it the most 1/8th mile ets went from 6.08 to 6.18 1/4s went from 9.30s to 10.00s. I was thinking possible fuel pump have been running mr12.

If you haven't been flushing the MR12, it could be your injectors - the particals (you can actually see them in your funnel) in MR12 that provides all the octane protection and 'ozygenation power' also clogs your injectors. Try this, fill up with pump gas and run it thru on a spirited street/highway ride for 1/2 hr. Should clear it up the injectors. Don't leave MR series fuel in your tank for more than a weekend of racing.

I'd suspect clutch slippage first. Over heated, worn, wrapped etc. Assuming stock clutch of course.

Weird I've been leaving MR12 in my fuel tank after I race and I don't street ride, I make sure the pump is fully submerged with fuel.

well finally found the problem pulled fuel pump and found fuel filter pluged with black crap not sure what it was . but was told by vp that it is from leaving fuel in tank for to long. only had it in from race to race drained it in the winter. now just have to find a new filter has anyone seen a place that sells them seperatly or just complete oem fuel pump setup!!!!
