Lets give the folks in Yarnell a hand
As many of you have seen on the news, Yarnell Arizona was hit by a devastating fire. Along with the terrible loss of 19 elite fire fighters, the town suffered terribly with many folks losing their homes.
Yarnell is the western gateway to the high country in Arizona where some of the best riding in the country exists.
Here is the reply to an e mail to Steve and Shelly, the owners of The Ranch House restaurant at the top of Yarnell hill.
Hey Tom
Great to hear from you.
We are going to have our reopening in Wed the 17th this week(bar any problems with the health dept., they should be here tomorrow).
Audrey and her mom lost their home and I don't think she will be back, same with Bev the older lady who did dishes. We are slowly recruiting a few people to help at least temp. to get things going again. Genese and Sarah are fine but so broke they can't pay attention, they lost out on a lot of work. You might pass that along to your buddies, these girls need help with rent and utilities now. I've done as much for them as I can do.
Well hope to see you very soon!
Thanks,
S&S
I'm calling out all riders, especially in the Phoenix area, to make it a point to visit Yarnell and give them your support and business. Spend a few dollars there and throw down a little bit extra on the tip. I know I'll be there.
Thanks,
Tom
