Compared Brocked out 14r to slip-on 14r on 200 mile ride today

My main riding buddy Toms 2012 14r green se totally stock with 2 brothers carbon slip-on cans.
My 2012 14r blue street set up with ct full system WITH DB KILLER BAFFLE INSTALLED THAT HAS 15 OF THE HOLES SLIGHTLY ENLARGED TO 1/4 inch. ,pc5 with street pump 89 map,Guhl drag flash, clutch mod, lowered middle hole,3/4 " slide up in fork tubes,

200 miles of road race track curves and 150 mph plus straights .The roads were basically free of traffic. It`s a beautiful thing.

I wanted to know a few things.
1st off lowering my bike did not do squat to fuck up the handling.
#2 How much difference did all the money I spent make.I can tell you 100% it makes a huge difference. The last mod I did was Don Guhl`s drag flash and all I can say is it is MAGIC.
Throttle response is so crisp and peppy. With the secondary flies open @3200 the engine feels like something is pushing the bike at all times if that makes any since. They added timing somewhere also.Even the clutch mod tighten up the cltch feel and I`m only using 3 shims right at the moment.
To sum it up I will say it improves an already stellar machine if you can believe that. All said and done it makes a huge improvement that you can feel and use every single time you ride the bike......If your on the fence about doing these mods be assured they are fantastic.

That's awesome. I'm looking t to do some mods myself. I really like the m4 retro drag pipes. Wanna do a pcv also, just not sure ifthey make a map for the m4s. Haven't found one yet. Maybe a generic setting. I'm interested in the guhls too.

I was thinking about the Brock's clutch mod and after reading that it improves the feel... I am in! My 14r launches really hard but lately the clutch feels a bit soft...

Hey Seno,

Send me an e-mail to bmail@brocksperformance.com. I'll forward you over a chart from a 14R we had on the dyno not too long ago. It had a little engine work... drop in pistons, nothing big. But he had the stock clutch/no mod, and you won't believe how badly it drove through the clutch! And the clutches were fine, looked good, we didn't touch them, we just added our mod/springs etc. and BAM - instant power gain.

There is no way the stock clutch isn't slipping, at least some, as soon as you increase to power on these bikes.
