zx14 zx10 zx6 alternator swap
did some digging and found out that a zx6/zx10 charging system fits the zx14. its about 1/2 the output and a smaller diameter fly wheel. the zx10 flywheel is the same as the zx6 but the 6 weighs 3/4 lb more then the zx10. the 10 flywheel is 1 lb lighter and the stator is 1 lb lighter. thats 2 lbs total plus less power to run. you need a spacer to bring the stator closer to the flywheel outside of that it bolts in. the rubber gromet for wiring and even the connection are the same. good for race but not street the 14 has to many lights. I will be making some spacers if anybody wants to do this.

How does the 14 have more lights than a zx10? Maybe the two small running lights up front?

the 14 has 4 lights that are on plus the markers when you have the high beams on.
