must of been a short block. you seem to have all the answers. and sure in your area that bike might go for 10k because you just said its rare. and to be honest about the mileage question it all depends whos selling the bike. i bought a zx10 with 24k miles on it from a 67 year old man who was the original owner. but like stated before. anyone who sees your mods will automatically assume its been dogged and drag raced. but the biggest question is whats wrong with the bike??? you just bought it 5 months ago and did all this work and want to sell it? just kind of odd thing to do unless your just trying to flip it.

Private Party asking prices are ridiculous...I have seen 5+ year old 600's with $7k asking prices. Most Gen 1 zx14's I see have asking prices in the $8-9k range, which is crazy considering what you can get a 2012 for...

when i seen a raggy ass old katana 1100 that chop up to pieces and running on 3 cylinders and held together with Velcro stickers bring 2500.00 .. anythings possible . rat bikes and customs they the in thing..

i'm building a old 1976 sulfur yellow gl1000 back to stock form. rarest of all goldwing colors . i bet it wouldn't bring shit when finished .. BUT if i chop it up and custom paint it matte rattle can black and bob the finder and install ape hanger bars and put some stuff toy on it i'd get 5,000.00

Well I'm in Iowa and 14's don't sell worth a shit around the Midwest, wisc, iowa, Nebraska. I know I've had 4 and every time said I would never buy another because resale around here is very bad. some dealers won't even take them or order new ones because of how bad they sell. IMO your wheels are worth 1200.00 , pipe 400 tops, arm 450.00, lock up 250.00. so if you find someone that likes how it's set up I say 8000.00 to 8500.00. I have a buddy that just sold an 08 busa with 900 miles and basically the same mods as yours except full Brock pipe and air shifter and nos kit never installed. he got 8500.00 and Busa's sell hands down better around here. He tried for 9500.00 then 9000.00 and never got a call to he went to 8900.00 and was offered 8500.00 and jumped on it. he tried selling it for a year.

I sold my 06 last month. It had 9,400 miles, Carrozeria wheels, 6 inch over arm, super sported motor, Brock's exhaust, air shifter, steering damper. The bike was immaculate. It sold for $8,500.00.
It probably helped that I had time slips where the bike had run in the mid 8.80's at 158 MPH last summer.

I'll sell my turbo 08 zx14 for 6500. There is no way in hell that a 06 with that many miles is worth 10 hell I'd give 5500 for it and that's only if it's the blue from 06
