Well my zx14r is totally unrestricted now
I sent the ecu to Guhl Motors and it unleashed a holy fucking terror.The safety mode in first,second and third gears is gone.The 186 top speed limit is gone.Traction control can now be turned off on the fly and retains the last setting indefinitely after power down.Some secrete timing added.Opens secondary throttle plates at 3200 rpm instead of 5500. Added 500 rpm rev limit.
I took it for a short ride on the hyway.On the on ramp I rolled into it .It was 50 degrees out so I was trying not to ham fist it and blow the tire off.Well at around 7 grand I pined it.It snap to red line and Leaped forward like nothing I have ever felt in my life.I don`t think the shift light came on but I pushed the button for the second gear shift and it started all over again.It pulls harder and screams more violently than anything I have been on or in going forward.I never even tapped out 2nd gear because I was well over 100 mph ready to merge with 5 o'clock traffic faster than I could believe. I uncorked a DEMON .i`m going to midnight madness friday night gunning for that 8.9.

Last time I looked Brock wasn't listing a reflash for the 2008 10R on his website. ( $375 a pop )
Others are though, so it's always worth an email to enquire.
Ditto what ZX10Mark said about the Brock Flash 2 for the 14R, It's brilliant and so easy.

Isn't it incredible what Don can do, I actually talked to hiom this week about reading our Bombardier sled boxes.........I only wish we'd had this skill-set & enthusiasm (meaning Don) back in 2000 when the original 12 came out. Has anyone ever opened a 12 ECM to see what was left on the table?

Is it okay to reflash the ecu with stock exhaust any horsepower gains

I expect you would gain at lower revs because the secondary butterflys open earlier, you'd also get the other benefits listed above.
My 14R is brilliant with a Brocks exhaust and Drag Flash 2 etc. Apart from +200 top speed it hurtles past 100 from rest in about 4.5 seconds. Mental

Damn I love hearing stories like this! Im torn between sending mine to Guhl or ecUnleashed.com. I hear great things about Brocks but I personally know someone whose ecu was flashed by ecUnleashed.com and its a beast as well.

Yes. I have the first zx12r ecu that was derestricted
by Ridge Racer. Ridge Racer works with Don Guhl. Yes my
2002 Zx12r with reflashed ecu is nasty. Gear
limits, rev limiter, ignition, ram air tables etc. Its nasty..
