Saying what year bike you have may help, in case its a different process. It's in your user manual if you have one.
I know its easy to do on my 14r, its in the main settings page.

yes you can...read your owners manual. Just a process of using the two buttons on the dash to progress through the screens and to select a different rpm.

You can set the ENGAGE LAMP
to OFF or ON 1200 - 6000 rpm. The ENGAGE LAMP only will come on in 1st gear while the clutch lever is pulled and the bike is moving 3mph or less. It is intended to signal the rpm that you prefer to launch the bike at. I set mine at 1200 because i don't drag race and i like to see the lamp come on since i got one.
The SHIFT UP LAMP which is intended to signal the rpm you choose to shift at for optimal acceleration can be set to come on anywhere between 7500-11000 rpm. Not lower than 7500 rpm.
Ignition ON. Engine may be running or shut off.
1. start by pressing both top and bottom buttons on the multifunc meter --Hold them until display changes to the LANGUAGE selection display. ENGLISH or FRANCAISE
Release both buttons when you get to this display.
2. Push and release the top button one time to activate the multifunction meter settings menu. it will look like this:
MILEAGE
ENGAGE LAMP
SHIFT LAMP
LAMP MODE
CLOCK
3. Push and release the upper button one time to select MILEAGE. You could select what unit of measure you want for fuel mileage here but you are concerned with your shift lamps so we will proceed.
4. Push and release the top button. The selection moves to ENGAGE LAMP.
5. Push and hold the top button for 2 seconds and the present ENGAGE LAMP rpm setting will flash indicating that a new setting may be entered.
6. Push the bottom button to advance the rpm. the rpm setting will advance by 100rpm for each press on the bottom button. By pressing the bottom button repeatedly, you may choose 1200-6000rpm or OFF .
7. Push and release the upper button to lock the rpm you select for your ENGAGE LAMP.
8. Push and release the upper button one time to select SHIFT LAMP.
9. Push and hold the top button for 2 seconds and the present SHIFT LAMP rpm setting will flash indicating that a new setting may be entered.
10. Push the bottom button to advance the SHIFT LAMP rpm. The rpm setting will advance by 100rpm for each press on the bottom button. By pressing the bottom button repeatedly, you may choose 7500-11000rpm or OFF.
11. Push and release the upper button to lock the rpm you select for your SHIFT LAMP.
12. Push and release the top button. The selection moves to LAMP MODE.
13. Push and hold the top button for 2 seconds and the present LAMP MODE setting will flash indicating that a new setting may be entered.
14. Push the bottom button to select the appearance of the light that you prefer. By pressing the bottom button repeatedly, you may choose DIM, BRIGHT or BLINK .
15. Push and release the upper button to lock the appearance of the lamp that you selected.
16. Push and release the upper button one time to select CLOCK. You could set the correct time here if you want but you are concerned with your shift lamps so we will conclude.
17. I am pretty sure now you press both top and bottom buttons to exit the setup mode and return to a normal display.
sorry can't start my bike this time of year to check that for you.
