well guys im just about to pull the trigger on an evil swing arm. i need some advice from you guys. i plan on tracks days when i can get there and i ride distance rides with the wife too. would it be smart to get underbraced or non underbraced? im planning on 6-8 arm adjustable arm. total rider weight including wife is about 380.

i asked this same question to Tony(evil swingarm) and he said unless one plans to got 12" or longer hes sees no need for one. By the way my evil swing arm is 4-8.

Also if you haven't planned on doing it already i'd go with the three hole adjuster but being that your only going 6-8 there might not be a need for it.

sorry just saw your riding weight with the wifey. Might be a good idea to call tony and ask him what he things after all it is his product. This was his reply to my question

Tony Eads
"Your weight and size should not be an issue with the arm on the bike, should be fine....Bracing is used for long arms or high horsepower bikes. Let me know if you have any other questions, Thanks"

I'm 5'9 around 170
