It depends on which sidewinder you have. I believe you must get a adaptor with the muzzy, but other ones you do not.

I guess I should say I am putting it on a zx12 but since a 14 sidewinder works on a 12 I figuer i would ask for photos of both.

I had a full muzzy system on it, but sold it so it makes me buy a sidewinder.

Get a Brock's. The filter is fine with it.

i don't know about all brocks sidewinders but on my friends zx14 with a brocks sidewinder and flat pan . Even using a Yamaha filter(super short) the pipe tube don't give enough clearance to remove the oil filter. He has to remove the 4 bolts on the oil relocator and drop the whole assembly down to replace the filter. PITA ..He had a tsukigi previously and could get the filter off

maybe its the relocator problem http://store.schnitzracing.com/muzzys-oil-filter-adapter-kawasaki-zx14-06-13/ and he needs the side mount

Just installed Brock's TiWinder and cut OEM pan. No oil filter clearance issues at all. Didn't have to even try that hard to get the filter on... lots of room without moving anything at all.

If you go to a flat pan, the oil filter cooler is removed and a filter adapter is put in its place. This set up requires a Yamaha Raptor oil filter. Other option is the Orient Express one that is a 90 degree adapter. Should be able to use a standard filter with that one.

brocks and muzzy SWs for a 12 on a 12 fit fine with the oil cooler and oem filter, not sure about a 14 SW on a 12
