ECU swap
Hello everyone
I recently sold my 07' ZX14 and bought a 08' and having a problem with the oxygen sensor.
European models from 2008 come with oxygen sensor plugged on the stock headers, I want to get rid of it so I will map it with pc-v and autotune and the dynojet eliminator and optimizer doesn work properly. If I buy a used ECU from US model will I have problems with the immobilizer? I read that US models doesn't come with ABS, oxygen sensor and immobilizer so with a US model ECU I get rid of all them. What is better 06-07 or 08+ ECU?

I don't know if this will be of any help. I bought a Brock's CT system for my UK model 2012 ZZR1400 which has the lambda sensor in the stock exhaust.
The mid-pipe on the Brock system has a blind boss which I had drilled and tapped to accept the sensor, 12mm I think. I could have just plugged it back in but I also bought the dynojet O2 Optimizer part number 76125017 which goes in series with the sensor and plugs into the bike's wiring loom.
I have the PCV too and I can now alter the closed loop part of the fuel map and there are no warning lights on the dash. I also had the Guhl ECU reflash. I'm not using Autotune.
There is also an O2 Eliminiator (as opposed to Optimizer) which I believe plugs into the loom if you've removed the lamda sensor and gets rid of the warning light - but I've not tried that.

I can't offer any advice about swapping US & European ECU's, just don't know. But you asked which was better between our '07 & '08's and we couldn't find a better one here.
We spent some time on a dyno swapping my son's and my ECU (from those two models) and couldn't make any more hp with tuning. He had the later injectors and mine were the early one's.
Our operator tuned each combination and at the end of the day....no gains for either bike.
