Shane, you emailed me directly and told me your computer crashed are you okay? You also posted your kit saves 10 pounds of ROTATING mass, not static mass included such as hanger bracket and/or caliper assembly. When I questioned you repeatedly then you finally changed your advertising to be 7 pounds difference for the pair (2 front and 5 rear). I have all the email as proof. I challenged you and you lost because your wording in the advertisement was not correct. People, he changed his advertising because I complained about the inaccuracy of it. That is not someone I would buy a wheel conversion kit from.
So are you now admitting the difference in just the wheels is about 5.1 pounds and not 7 pounds? Any weight saved in the rear rotor is practically insignificant because it is so close to the axle and the 14 rear rotor is so small to begin with.
I have a ZX-10R rear rotor here and I got 1.58 pounds on my scale so even if I compared the 14 wheel WITH a rotor and the 10 wheel WITHOUT it, it STILL wouldn't be a 7 pound difference in weight for the rear wheel rotating mass!
So bash me all you want but I keep fighting back with facts and poking holes in what many people say here.

You even admitted me me you lost your "notes" because your computer crashed.
I got the wheels and weighed them myself and to no surprise, my numbers are different than yours.
Uhh..please link where I posted this?? I swapped the 10R wheels to Racheal's bike, and I recall it being around 8 lbs. I don't recall any computer crash or whatever the hell you are talking about, lol. I believe this was documented in Racheal's build thread. OSR also documented similar weights. And typically I post pics of my parts on the scale.
Are you ok, man?? LOL
Shane
Shane, seems you have "convenient" recall. You claim to recall something like a weight reduction project but claim to not recall something major like a computer crash. It is not looking good for you my "friend". Does the term "BUSTED" mean anything to you? People I have the email for proof so this is not slanderous. I weigh my own motorcycle parts and get it exact. The ZX-10R rear rotor is 1.58 pounds and 1.70 pounds with the 4 bolts.

Sorry I thought you were Shannon Clem from OSR. He has been busting my chops about the kit saving 10 pounds then after numerous email messages from me questioning him he dropped it to only 7 pounds and now I am seeing only 5.1 pounds difference myself since I purchased and weighed both wheels. Only difference is he weighed with rotors and I didn't but that doesn't make up the almost 2 pound discrepancy since the rotor doesn't even weigh that much.

I am the weighmaster, not the ID master. The police sometimes get the "wrong man" too. I am not buying that OSR guys rear wheel conversion kit for a lousy 3.1 pound savings and having to get all that other crap that goes with it. I am going with a 14 rear wheel and a 10 front wheel since the 10 is a direct swap not requiring any $125 kit. That is cost effective and I am getting a lighter front tire too which is basically free since I didn't buy that $125 kit from OSR. My 200 rear Shinko tire has a lot of tread left so I will have fun with that one and when it needs replacing, I'll get a lighter rear tire too.
Yes my bike is still losing weight so I am a loser. I can't find one of my motorcycle keys too so that makes me a loser too.

Yeah, pretty much...
Look buddy, if you haven't noticed, most topics worth expending this much energy and finger work are for the purpose of moving forward, in other words- progress. There is 5 pages of SHIT now no thanks to you and your played out topic- that was figured out quite a long time ago. I for one would rather view a post from someone who thinks with his head instead of his ass.

LMAO ! ! I have been quietly waiting and reading all of this guys post on here after I saw the exhaust plug post. Weighmaster - you are so accurate with everything you do but you couldn't figure out that Shane and I are two different people??? LMAO --- I am glad that you have showed your true colors on this site so everyone can get a little taste of what I was dealing with when you were constantly emailing me.
I told you numerous times - yes my computer crashed and I lost notes/pics of the conversion when I did it. I was pretty sure the info I had on site was true -- not sure why you think I would try to lie to people to get sales on that product??? Clearly the customers could have weighed the items they had and found out??? After dealing with you when I did some google searches I found the original weights that I posted on the site after I found them SO yes I changed them -- NO i did not admit guilt because I wasn't guilty of trying to trick people out of 2 lbs.
You became such a pain in my ass I told you I would NOT sell the kit to you - I didn't want to deal with you. You then quickly replied that you could overlook the 2lb mistake if I would sell the kit to you for $100 vs $125. This was your second attempt to lower my price. The first being your exhaust plug deal - you thought that I should sell you a wheel conversion kit for $100 for you giving me the idea on a what was for sure to be a top selling ZX14 aftermarket item. LOL
SO - you said you would go on the various sites and make me look bad and that expose me for giving false information to my customers --- well please continue.
To the Bikeland members. I am very sorry for tricking everyone and making erroneous weights in order to sell parts.
I really apologize because I listed a few sites for this idiot to go to and bad mouth me. Well I don't know if he was a member here before that but I am very sorry for this guy becoming a member here.
Weighmaster - I too have emails saved if you want to post them - some are very very Funny.
I also have pics of his bike!!!!!!!!!! And the CUSTOM SPROCKET that all of you have been waiting to see!!!!!!!!

OSR, what is funny is you STILL list your kit (as of Jan 3rd, 2013, 5:30 AM Eastern time) as "save close to 10lbs by putting the ZX10 light weight wheels on your ZX14" even when I have both wheelsets here that show it is 5.1 pound difference between the 2 pair and you STILL claim you are not misleading potential customers. And yes I have a screenshot of it if anyone wants proof. I can "prove" it is current because they have December 2012 archives listed on the same screen as the almost 10 pound claim. If anyone would like proof, I can put my wheels on my scale, take pics, and post them here showing 5.1 pound difference of the ZX-10R pair of wheels vs. the ZX-14 pair of wheels (all '06 vintage). Even if my wheels are not typical weight, the "almost 10lbs" and 7 pounds OSR quoted is a contradiction. That would be like saying a 560 pound ZX-14 is almost 800 pounds (same ratio as 7 to 10).
I do NOT want your conversion kit at ANY price even if it was $20. I feel much better with the stock ZX-14 rear rear wheel that was designed for the power of the ZX-14. If the ZX-10 rear wheel was the answer, then why didn't Kawasaki just use that on the 2006 ZX-14? With the miniscule weight savings of the rear wheel conversion, I can just save 1 to 1.5 pounds in the rear tire and match (or surpass) the performance gain of your kit at a small fraction of the price. By not buying your kit and all that other stuff required to make it work, I basically get a "free" tire which is guaranteed to fit with no headaches.
If I had trusted OSRs weight reduction numbers and purchased his kit, I would have likely been very disappointed when I weighed everything and probably would have asked for a refund. It was a fun exercise buying the wheels and weighing them myself because I found a LARGE discrepancy is his numbers and mine (even as of Jan 3rd, 2013)
My bike is changing almost weekly so any old pics are now obsolete. Several of my plastic pieces have been replaced with carbon fiber with more being replaced soon (also with carbon fiber).
The sprocket pic I sent OSR was a mockup and not the actual sprocket which likely hasn't even been made yet.
It is also funny that many people thought I did not even own a ZX-14. Why would I be spending all this time in the forum then? That would be like me hanging out in a Mustang forum and I didn't even own one or want one. That would be wasted time I could be out riding "burning up" the roads on my plugged exhaust ZX-14. Best $30 I ever spent on that plug and I got 2 clamps too (only 1 is required). What a deal!

If I owned a business, I wouldn't sell shit to this guy, fearing it would run more customers off than it would help my business.
Weighmaster- your right. Changing tires is much better than changing the wheels. Don't worry about if it hooks, that doesn't matter.
I've never wished anyone to wreck, but if you low side this bike, or even high side it, none of us will be suprised. With all the knowledge going into this "build", I would be shocked if the bike even runs.

weigh - my sites shows the weights :
Weight Savings :
Front wheel with one rotor
ZX14 14.8 lbs
ZX10 12.8 lbs
Rear wheel with rotor and sprocket carrier
ZX14 22.0 lbs
ZX10 17.0 lbs
it does not say close to 10 pounds - remember you emailed me and said I saw you changed that -- yes - I found some of my old post and updated the listing.
Wow you are real lying digging back through some old archives -- Dec of 2012 -- man I hardly remember that far back -- o wait that was only 4 days ago.

ok so after browsing every hard drive I have, photo bucket, various google searches - here are the pics I found.
Front wheel shows where I got the weights -- the rear wheel is of the zx14 -- i do not have a pic of the zx10 I weighed but thankfully douchemaster had sent me a weight of his wheel quoted here.
I purchased both wheels purposely so I could check it myself. Neither has the rotor or sprocket on and I got 15.8 vs. 18.8 pounds
Now since he didn't weight the zx10 wheel with a rotor -- I had a rotor laying around - and it shows 1.5 lbs so that with his comes to 17.3 lbs. total for a zx10 wheel.
I guess his issue is what the zx14 weighed?
17.3 lbs between his and My wheel and rotor -- vs 22 lbs on the zx14 -- pretty close to 5 lbs as I stated.
here is a pic of the rotor - and I will add the others next.
