Racing ?'s... Subframe, Mounting Extended Tail, Suspension...
I have a 07 SE ZX14, Im asking some noob racing questions but i want to learn and cant find much about it when i search!
Now that im very into drag racing and wanting to go faster, I've been looking to put a extended tail, revalved shock, tiwinder, buillet oil pan, and ect... (I want to get her low to the ground)
I've been looking at getting a Catalyst Composites +10 ProStreet Tail or Catalyst Composites +12 SuperSport Tail, but dont know which 1 is better for me...
I will be using a stock gas tank and I have a evil swing arm that can go out to 71"!
With either tail, how will i mount it for easy removal to acess PCV, Autotune, Nitrous Controller, ect.?
Will either tial work with the stock gas tank & rear subframe? If not what is a good light weight after market subframe?
On a side note, how do i set up my rear suspension to not have so much traval/sag when lanching or accelerating but get good traction?
Will a revalved stock shock help?
Look at the big amount of space between the tire and tail when the bike is parked comparied to when im lancing/racing, the tire is almost inside the tail rubbing on my tail light... (see pictures)
(The white 07 SE is mine)

Thanks Juice

The shootout tank isn't designed to use the stock tank - that is what the ss tail is for. Be sure to brace the seat with a nice OSR seat brace.

Ok, so i'll have to go with the SuperSoft tail.
But does the OSR seat brace support the whole +10 or +12 tail or is there a rear subframe that I would need to buy?

the brace supports the seat area so the tail doesn't slide back - its bolted on in the back with 2 6mm bolts -- many guys have had their tails break in that area due to hard launches and the tail flexing there -- with the brace it will lock the seat in place and it won't slide.

Brock sells a real nice rear shock set for you weight and made for drag racing ... Revalved shocks works for some and not others ... Brocks shock has 10 times more adjustablty than a stock revalved shock ..

A revalved shock worked for me, but I'm only at 55+- inches. That long, I would get a better shock than what I have
