Hey Jim! Robinson gear noise?
The new pump gear is making a good bit of whining as I rev the motor, as least that area seems to be where the sound is around. Does this seem normal?? I did set the balancers to eliminate that as a noise source.

You adjusted both balancers and its still doing it?
Does the bike have a manual chain tensioner on it?
I doubt its the oil pump gear.

Yep, both balancers adjusted. It does have a manual and it has been loosened and tightened to verify.
Just did an internet search and found that Schnitz lists the Robinson gear and they do describe a whine until gear seating.
