MAX horsepower questions about the different area

Hi every body
I'm a zx-14r fan from China,i've established a disscussion group(ZX14R) to study the new 14r,we have about 80 members so far,and keep increasing new guys.
we dont have a dealer around our country,Most of us riding the Smuggling bikes ,uesed and less all new .The Goverment want protect domestic brands ,so they increase the import taxes very huge. For example ,the ducati MTS1200 around 22000 dollar (exchange ¥ 136840 yuan),come to China turn over 450000yuan(exchange $72000),its TOTALY SHIT!! you know what?our average per person a year may control is about 8000dollar!

Here is my question
i've read the new 14R manual, and confused the different area in max horsepower
Page 19 said :WVTA(78.2h)78.2KW(106PS)@8500R/MIN(RPM)
(CA),(CAL),(US)-----
Does it mean the ca,cal and us model is the restricted power models?but to my knowlege the old 14R in ca and cal ,us model are the 180PS model,,why this time so weak power?did i miss something?beside ,the FR is the 106 PS model, how about the JP model? IT mean impotant to us ,because, most bikes we ride is from Japan and US ,i dont want a restriced power bike.

Thank you so much,if you want any information about China, plz contact me here 395784889@qq.com ,will be glad to connect foriegn motor friends.

I know Kawasaki has a "reduced power ECU" (100HP) that a member outside of the USA was getting his ECU flashed back to full power. To my knowledge the USA models have roughly the same HP (190ish), depending on the emissions. I believe there is a California model with more emissions, but not positive. Hope that helps

glad to hear you have been to China
i live in the north of Shanghai, about 500miles distance.Too far away to Chongqing.I think people will not live in that kind of city like chongqing in USA,because too many mountins, too jam.

pitty that we have no drag race in China, motorcycle is considered a trouble maker , most of us just like a thief to avoid cops ,parents,thiefs..PLZ jus lock right your motorcycle, once it is stolen, maybe it comes to China .send you a website ,you will understand that ,in the South of China ,Guangzhou ,there is a town renew foreign accident bike sell to yong guys.http://www.moto8.cn/jiaoyi/forum-202-1.html
