Back at the track today

Best pass of the day

60' - 1.62
1/8 - 6.26 @ 119
1/4 - 9.59 @ 145

bike seems slow and not fueling right. Sluggish in first gear when winding the throttle to the stop. I could feel it not pulling until it got enough rpm then it picked up. Got to get it tuned.

I got tree'd in the video by my buddy, had had a .015 light to my .111 and of course got the 60' with the extended wb.

I am rusty as hell and need to work on several things. I also had a full tank of fuel which is not what I normally would have. Need to drop it to lowest hole on links, less fuel, get it tuned, get the shifter switched to GP shifting, and a lot more seat time.

Had a blast though and looking forward to getting my times back down again.

almost 14k miles on it now. not much considering I used to ride 12k-15k a YEAR and I bought this bike in 09. Sad on my part. lol

I noticed the shift light never came on...and the front tire never left the ground all day. Bike feels a lot different with the Ohlins shock. For sure need to get more aggressive and be patient for the shift light.

I'll have to upload a pass in the right lane...talk about bumpy after the 1/8th mile!

I'll get back out there...looking forward to making some more passes before the end of the year. Then it's teardown time and get the things done that I want to get done.

you can tell that cocksucker pete aronson to suck my balls. I did hear karma caught up with him recently with a get off and some injuries. Love it! Hope he heals up slow and his bike is trashed.

Don't think he posted any pictures of his bike, this time, but he broke his collar bone good and I think a couple ribs. That site is nothing like it once was.

Here was an early pass on the right lane...as soon as you pass the 1/8th mile...it gets a little...shall we say, bumpy.

Not bad at stock wheelbase especially considering the whoop section from a motorcross track you had to navigate pass the 1/8th mile mark. Damn that track is rough.

The best pass was on the left lane without all the whoops in it. It was hard to shift going through that stuff with a quickshifter.

Running this slow is not the norm for me...got a lot of work to do to get back into form and the bike running in top form. Set up is not there either. I'll just chip at it a little here and there.

That's pretty harsh. I wouldn't even wish that on 1bad!

I just bought a ZRX. What do I need to know? Link?

What do you want to know about the ZRX? I'm on my 4th one. Best bike I have owned.

Good to see you're getting back to the track!

I won't hijack the thread any worse than I already have, except to point out that I got the rare one that has the reflectors and full rear fender.

It is rough. before they patched it about 2 years ago a friend of mineon his lowered 06 GSXR1000 had the dogbones bottom out and catch in a low spot and it through him over the handlebars going through the end of the 1/4 mile in the right lane. He had a jacket and gloves on but only jeans on the bottom. He had some pretty good road rash. If you go again I would like to go too if I am off work.

Don't know. They call it the SteddyTeddy backrest on the ZRXOA.
