Texas mile rider dies
Just heard on FB that a rider who went down at the mile has died.
RIP
Like I said before, it takes a real man to risk it all doing the mile on 2 wheels.

Where was he on the track when he went down? this is not a good thing for Tx mile at all RIP

I'm not sure. I don't know if it where the bump was after the shut down, that took Carl and Bill out or not.
From what they said, he died last tuesday??? I am really surprised no one posted about it here.
This is the first I heard of someone going down at the last event.

oh bummer..I beat 1 of those things at gateway with my 12r doing a 9.6 pass.Ithought with his cool wheelie bar i was toast.He did 60 foot me but i rode by him........I was happy for another kill.
It sure is a shame some rider got killed racing............

I've gotten to ride that track once, and LOVED it. Godspeed to the guy for doing what he Loved. Prayers to friends and family.

OMG!! Rob, I didnt realise who this man was until now. He was a nice guy to be around at the strip. May he rest in peace.
