Ported head & cams can not give you that hp even with MR12 .I know of a lot of guys here by us that has Gen 2 busa's with ported head & cams, they are all about 15 - 20 hp down on a Zx14R also with pipe, filter, ecu flash ect .I suspect a bit of NOS to get that speed.

Lol my STOCK genII booza still has the highest dyno numbers on our local dyno. About 6-7 14rs have been on it and all have made 5-6hp less. It has also gone faster and quicker than ANY zx14 at our local track. Not to bad for a old 08 huh

But I wish say that the 14 is a WAY better street bike IMO, much nicer to ride and handles better. But for the track you just can't beat the booza IMO

oh yes it will, a well known fact it gives you 220 or more if you dont beleive me call Bob Carpenter or come to a dyno shootout.lol
By the way a 2nd gen hayabusa stock to stock is only 15hp down on a stock zx14r
forget about 30hp ,that some disinformed fools are talking about.

quote: The truth is that the short turn on the 2012 head isn't any better than the 06-11 head. Our CNC ported stage 1, 2, and 3 heads for the 2012 picks up as much power as our Stage 1, 2, and 3 heads do for the 06-11 engines.
The real difference in the heads is the length of the divider in the intake ports and the exhaust ports. The MCSA relationship to the displacement of the engine hasn't changed.
As far as screwing it up and going back to square one?
Let me just say that this isn't our first rodeo. Our CNC ported head and cam packages are making more dyno power than anyone elses in the industry and there the fastest going down the track as well.
Look at the big grudge events this year or a MiRock race? The fastest all motor bikes
AND nitrous bikes in the country are running our head and cam packages. The Black Caddy Busa and Area51 are a couple that come to mind.
Also Mike Garcia just went 219 at Bonneville on a 223 hp 1340cc busa stock bore and stroke to set the record.
We have been doing Rickey's motors for a few years now and he wouldn't be having us do them if he didn't think they could win.

there is no proof it was a stock hayabusa .. nobody broke it down to verify ..hell can't even find a video of the pass .. show me where somebody tech the bike after the pass .. i can show you alot of " claimed stock bikes"that went faster so that 8.42 is worthless without verification ... and hear say ain't verifacation.. but i know at Bonneville to get a WORLD RECORD it has the be inspected to be what class it is ..
i just hope whomever does start a class for stock bike records finds somebody to police the bikes before handing out a title ..

There i no proof of anythig that anyone has done ,i suppose you could ask Brock davidson the same question ,but as it stands as we are now led no believe, the 8.42 is as legitimate
as you can get

Gstring- the 8.42 doesn't count, because the bike was the bike "couldn't" and never will do it again.
Bob Carpenter? Sells off of dyno sheets- and maybe 10 yrs ago
-he may have had a name people would remember.
The 1340cc bike that went 219 was only 1340 in size- alot of $$$$ was in that bile and that motor.
Think about Shane's 14 going 212 mph in pretty much stock form.
How you nutswingers gona be impressed by 7 mph???
