2008 zx14 replated cylinders

new member here looking for advice had a wrist pin clip come out on #2 cylinder anyhow took the motor apart as the cylinder got damaged and had them replateted problem is they milled the surface of the block and told me over the phone that they think they milled 1mm off or 39 ths of an inch witch to me is lots but they have yet to confirm this i advised them that my problem is i will not have enought piston to valve clearance not very pleased anyhow waiting for them to give me a correct answer once they look at the work order any advice on what i should do would be greatly appreciated once i fined out how much they did take off i will post it thanks

Then how much clearance should i have between the piston and valves when the valve is open

50 thousands on the intake and 80 thousands on the exhaust is safe.

Make sure u degree the cams to make up for it or u will mash valves

you have to degree the cams in before you can check piston to valve clearance. turn the engine over slowly by hand and dont force anything.
