Whats the burn look like on your ct exhaust and with what map.

Do you guys notice your set up burns rich in the tip outlet. Then when i ran the db killer for a week and pulled it out it turned very dark dry brown. On the current mpg read out the mileage went up 2 mpg.I cant run 150 mph everywhere so the ram air can lean it out.Maybe a race air filter would lean it out slightly.

Don't sweat the color .. Just because it's black doesn't mean it rich .. Unleaded fuels with all the crap they add causes it to look black no matter what .. Now get some leaded race gas and run it and it will be light gray with the same map .. Can't go by color like we did in the old days of leaded fuels ..

Lean don't always build power. Old saying lean is mean but fat is we're it's at. Not a 2 stroke and from what I see 12.8-9 works best. And like lee said the crap they put in fucks with the readings. On my race sled I run race fuel just so I can see .

I don't see a lot of brown at the tip of my CT duals, although I do suspect Brocks street map is a tad rich due to the faint but obvious gas smell at cruise. The bike runs fantastic with the CT duals and street map 2.

judging by reading brocks maps the 14r come rich from the factory. It just smell out of tune but runs very good. The idle pulse`s are`nt smooth and it seems to stack them on top of each other a little. My zx12r was way rich also. The custom map i had made leaned the 12 out a hole lot..It really fly`s but not like this 14r.

Thats been my experience. Guess I'll pay a visit to a tuner. Been hesitant to do that since Brocks map runs so damn good. Thinking of Dale at CycleWerkz in Ft Worth or Jim Sabin at Sabin Performance. Do you have a solid DFW reccomendation?

Yes sir. It just rips the rear tire on the street when i jump on it.My 14r is just fucking retarded to the rear tire on the street so far.If i have t/c on #1 setting before i get to 6 grand it`s cutting out like a rev limiter when on a asphalt road.I just leave it off and modulate the throttle a little.
