Time to get back to the strip before the weather gets too cold
Converted the Big Ninja from sport touring back to dragstrip duty. Now to go have some fun.

I flip back and forth with it...I also have a set of zx10 wheels for it, but still sourcing the caliper and hanger for them.

Thanks. Not sure what to expect here in GA. I've not run enough here to know how much different my times will be. Plus, I am carrying an extra 20lbs of retirement weight on my now. doh
I'd just like to get back in the saddle and get in some passes before the year ends. Should see some good air this time of year. Wish I was proficient enough to go to Valdosta next month...but not even close to being ready for that kind of competition.

I need to get the bike tuned. I have no idea what map is in it right now. Cleaned out my air filter after two years of riding....needless to say it was..uh...dirty. lol
I am curious how much of a difference the rear shock is going to make. Even though it's not a dedicated drag shock, the Ohlins has more adjustment than the stock shock did and actually works. We'll see. I need some seat time first though. The rear sets and new shifter are working great so far, and I like the positioning of my feet. I'll GP shift it on the track though. Much easier to just mash the shifter down than try to get your foot up under it.
I'd also like a better shift light...stock one is not in good location and too small. What's cheap out there that works?

Yup the stock one sucks .. Dyan shift minder worked well on my bike.. There is a guy on one of the busa sites ( boost by smith ? ) that sells a nice led unit that is nicely priced ..
