I actually went thru two motors in my 1st year both covered under warranty bearings on the 1st just under 5 months/9,000 miles and the 2nd 10 months/23,000 miles bearings again and also ended up with a rod thru the case, luckily both happen while I was in NY and not on one of my longer trips like to Vegas or Alaska
After the 2nd time I had them add Schnitz oil pressure valve and I didn't stay in the higher RPM's like I used to

Congratulations on getting your Kawasaki up to 100,000.

I bought a Honda ST1100 in 1996 with about 7,500 miles on it. Eighteen months later when I wrote it off in an accident it was up to 125,000 miles. It was my career break, working as a long distance courier for a couple of years and one hell of an experience.

Thanks for the kind word and at the point I think she is most valuable to me so we are in this till the wheels fall off, not literally I hope
BobC, getting paid to ride must have been nice
heraser I actually didn't think I would hit the 100K til next year but I'm always on the move so it just kept adding up
HiMile its has been very rewarding and was a very memorable day,
I hit 100K right across from the CT trooper barracks on I95N and our roadside celebration wasn't appreciated, I can laugh now but the 5 police cars and 1 officer running 18 licenses took forever :|
