Video for Sat night street heat 200 front wheel drive fart can cars and 4 bikes .. Air sucked , I have no clue when we are going to get some good fall air but it wasn't tonight .. DA 1385 , 71 % humidtiy 78 Deg and one dirty ass track ... But my 008 Shink worked great .. All the other bike couldn't hook but i did .. I had 4 8.52 passes and my last pass was 8.51 ... I think i lost some MPH on that run because i ran over a damn fan belt that some car tossed at about half track .. I was thinking it was a snake but the guy came up to me after the run and asked me if i saw his fan belt .. I had a small wheely in first that i had to trim a bit of throttle but the pass still came out ok ..
I have another video pass that i will post later , i want you guys to see it and tell me what the hell is going on with my bike .. It comes out of the hole and in first gear the motor cuts off for a split second .. It doesn't do it every pass , maybe every 3 or 4 pass it does it .. I'm just to tried tonigh to post it .. But here his my 8.51@158 pass with a 1.32 60 footer ..

Looks good to me Lee. Our track was hot and humid too, with a head wind. Sucks!

Thanks , I had a 009 light on that run .. Funny part is no matter if i run a 1.35 60 footer or a 1.31 i still run 8.52 to 8.51 .. I guess i better start backet racing the bike ____________

My limiter is set way higher than my Auto shift .. I would think it would have shifted before i got close to the rev limiter .. Wait till i get the video posted and you will see what i'm talking about .. It does it before i even get to the 60 foot mark ..

I see it in one of your other videos, you still are in the clutch, will the autoshift work when you are on the clutch slightly?

That Wee i don't know ... I guess it could happen ? Maybe it kills the motor but doesn't shift .. Sure doesn't sound like 11200 coming out of the hole but it could be .. I'm not looking at the tach so i guess it could be ..

Ok here is the video .. No way i'm i near the rev limiter when the motor cuts off .. The RPMs are very low when it misses or cuts off .. Something else is going on here .. Like i said it doesn happen everytime , maybe one run all night it happens ..
Watching the Video it happens few in the first few feet of the run .. Motor is pulling down in RPMs as the clutch comes out then cuts off then comes back on with a light bog .. I don't think it's low fuel causing this because the rest of the runs after this one doesn't do it .. Sounds like it cutting off under load , Maybe a new set of plugs is needed ? I know my races car would do this when it needed a plug change ..

1) Yes, you should bracket race with times like that!
2) Maybe put the camera on the tach next time so you can see exactly where the hiccup happens...

Smokin, I still think it's hitting the shift point rpm on the autoshifter, pull the rpm chip and button shift it, that will eliminate my theory lol

Could the Seat be mashing down, flexing with your weight pinching a wire or hitting shift kill, ? Something moving around under Accell G-forces.
Or is tire hitting under tail and pushing up , Mashing on ECU, wiring , or bouncing kill box??

We may see two days here that get below 1000 feet in late fall and early spring .. Too cold and the track will not open because of safety reasons .. Problem with our cold fronts is they don't stay around long .. One day 50 Deg and the next day back to 80s ..Timming is everything here , the cold front has to hit the day before the track day and that doesn't happen offten .. So i'm looking for day that is 50 to 60 deg with below 50% humidty with the sun out to warm the track and not have 20 to 30 mph winds that come with the cold front ..Lowest i can remember us racing in was 600 DA a few years back ..If i can get a day from 600 to 900 feet DA i would be real happy.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and knocking on wood that we see some of that air soon ... Now if you go to GA in Nov about 250 miles north of me you can see below sea level DAs .... I think Brock recorded a DA of -900 feet in GA.. Now that is some air !!! Same thing happens at Atco and Sacramento from what i have read ..

I guess that might have happened .. I do have new a steel plate under my ECU that is also my tag bracket so it is not eating ECU wires ..I just looked at my plate and it has no tire marks on it , so it is not hitting..

Put a new slick on it., 008 Slipping just enough to put u into limiter and that 14r is pulling timing nosing her over. ? Your pinning the throttle so quick ,i m guessing your well above the ext, ecu hit. Did you have the soft limit removed ?

Well bill it's not spinning , i know that as a fact .. My limiter is set at 11500 , soft limiter gone .. Auto shift is set at 11200 ..Like a said this only happens maybe 2 times out of 10 passes .. It doesn't sound like it's pulling timming , it just cuts completely off and comes back on ..
