Thank you letter from Ken Rice, Kawasaki Motor Company of America

Letter back today from Ken Rice Consumer Affairs, Kawasaki Motor Company of America. Was not aware of the fairing bolts falling out in such a short period of time on the 2012 ZX14r, appreciated the input, and has already forwarded comments and suggestions to Japan to review and correct the assembly hardware if necessary...

Squeaky wheel gets the grease.....

Some watch things happen, some make things happen...some wonder what the hell happened...

Anytime we can identify a potential defect or a safety issue is should be everyone's desire to make it known to powers at the factory what the issues are and suggestions to correct the issue. It is a NO brainer. AND it doesn't cost anything...!

so you posted you mailed this letter on the 3rd and you received a letter back on the 4th? It's just a loose bolt you moron, it's not a defect! btw did you tell him you are 17 years old and your Daddy is in Afghanistan?

I emailed a friend of mine that works for Kawasaki, KHI should address the loose bolts with a "recall" to have them retorqued. In the mean time tighten them yourselves. This issue was reported back in November of last year to me, I checked mine and they were tight so I didn't think anything of it, with a handful of guys noticing this it would be best interest for KHI to address it,

Come on you guys, it doesn't matter who saw it first. If it's potentally a safety issue it does no harm to mention it.

Yes of course Kawasaki should have done something about it but I think it's a shame to see hostile words between forum members over something which is the fault of neither one of them.
