Where is the speed sensor wire located on 14r?

Am trying to install a BACKOFF Brake hold Module...instructions call for installing one of the wires to the bike speed sensor wire.....

Does anyone know where that wire or module is located...possibly near the tranny?

Help....

On the 14R ? There are front and rear wheel speed sensors which feed into the ECU. Different from the countershaft nut pick-up on 06/11 bike. Out of the ECU it's a can bus.

I'd never heard of this but after googling it, it seems like it could be useful.
Unfortunately not on a 14R!

From their ad. **Your Bike MUST have an Electronic Pick-Up Sensor**
The 14R doesn't.
You could try splicing into one of the wheel sensors. Your call!

It is a safety module. I causes the rear stock brake light to flash 5 times, then goes to steady on. Each time you release the brake you get the 5 continuous flashes with each engagement.

Lots of Goldwings have them installed for added rear safety flashing instead of just the stock ON light when you brake.
