Anyone running a TiForce? On a 2012?

I was hoping I could get some insight on TiForce. Has anyone installed or dynoed one on a 2012? I'm considering buying a used system for a good price, anyone have a map that might work? I'm still working out the details, seller has a map/pc3 for a 2008...not sure how much difference there will be between a 2008 & 2012 when it comes to mapping.

Thanks

I emailed them in Japan earlier in the year and at that time they weren't making a system for the 2012 bike so I'll be getting a Brock exhaust. Although they could be by now so it's worth contacting them. They respond to emails in English. (sales@tiforce.com)

Ive just purchased a full system that came off of a 2008. There should not be any issues. Now I just need to find a map and new PCV.

Than ks for the response. If anyone has a 2012 map, I'd Greatly appreciate a copy to get me by until I can get it dynoed.

from tiforce japan :

quote:
Hello Oliver,

Sorry for the delay.
According to our tech guy, it does appear the additional deck height on the 2012 ZX14, so our previous pipe will not allow to fit.

sorry, so our previous model can't work right to your new '12 ZX14R.

we will not develop and design the pipe for '12 ZX14R.
very sorry that I can't help you this time.

thanks
Tomoko

Sounds like of they don't want to make a system for your bike, you need to go with a company that has dedicated the time to do all the R&D for your bike.

I have the Ti-force on my 2012 14r. The fit is close to the sump but it does work for me.
I am still using the stock map and it still runs fine with no apparent fueling issues.

I still have the gen1 - both bikes have the full Ti-Force system. I purchased the latest system from 58 cycle in June - on sale - for $995, including shipping. Heck of a deal. I'll try to get some pictures.

The latest TiForce exhaust for the ZX14 does not have the center tab on the mid-pipe. I did not use this on the 09, since the system is really light and TiForce apparently thought the same and deleted this mounting point. Due to the slight increase in deck height in the 14r exhaust tube number 4
is now very close to the engine sump. I put a temporary (?) shim made of aluminum coated fiberglass mat , folded several times for approx. 1/8 of clearance between the #4 tube and sump.
After adjusting and tightening the system, I left the shim in place in order to insure that the pipe would not contact the sump. The radiator was close to one of the pipes so I added 2 thin washers between the lower radiator mounting point and block. I did add a couple of washers to each of the lower fairing mounting bolts to get extra clearance between the fairing and pipes but his may not be necessary.

Parts finally arrived, got a chance to install. No issues as of yet. I did add a couple washers to the radiator support bracket. It wasn't touching, but it was very close. This exhaust sounds amazing. I have a full yosh map for a 2012 until I can get to Dubai & get it tuned. The exhaust is super close to the oil pan, I'm not sure if I will add the exhaust wrap like you did. it's not touching, I may just leave it alone. As for that one hole not lining up(above pic), my exhaust doesn't have that support bracket.

You are very welcome .... If the pipe is not touching anything you are good to go ... All the pipe needs is a very small air gap ..

Do you fellas think there would be any fit issues with the high-mount slip-ons on the 14R?

I don't know if i will sell my 2011 14, but I do know I'll be buying a 14R next year, and if the pipes fit, I'd obviously remove them and slap em on the new 14R.

What do you guys think?

That pipe is by far the best looking pipe on a 14r that I've seen so far! IMO
