what are the chances
I know this is dumb and will come down too the rider but got a bet with a 04 busa with a misstated pipe vs my 08 zx14 with full exhaust pc3 k&n filter same skill level but I got bout 120 pounds on him what are my chances of victory the last 2 bikes I have had 04 r6 05 636 I killed him on take off just did not have enough bike too keep it going this has been a long battle lol I'm ready for a win

If you weigh 120 pounds more than him get ready for him to pull away from you. Quickly. On the NA 14 we have, 70 pounds difference in rider weight, same bike, same night means 5-7 MPH difference in trap speed in the 1/8th. And usually at least a couple of tenths given the same 60'. You should have a little power on the Busa but spotting 120 pounds isn't going to work out too well for you. You'd better cheat like Hell on the launch and hope for the shortest race possible.

If you race anything more than 330' he's probably goin to get you, unless he can't launch, and you can 60' the bike.

If he were on a Gen 2 Busa I would say your about to get your ass handed to you with that weight difference. Since he's on a Gen 1, you have a fighting chance. Like eclipse said, just make sure you 60ft the hell out of him..

Yea his take off is Shit he can ride good he just can't launch for Shit I have always told him he is scared and when the front tire comes up he backs off I think I got him this time

i have both of those bikes and the 14 is 2 and a half tenths quicker than my busa,but your 120 lbs is gonna eat up 4 tenths so you should lose if you are equal riders.

Guess will just have to see the way is do him on my 636 out the gates I fill the take off is what's going too do it I don't worry bout launch I use my weight as an advantage on take offs
