Old pic of my first dragrace
going through some old pics and found this one of my first run down the dragstrip in 1986 on my 85 900ninja.im the one not doing the wheely.ran a 11.77 thought the bike was broke cause the "magazines" said it ran 10s.  better pic of it

Nice bike. My first bike I raced on the drag strip was a 1986 Yamaha FZ750. I thought that bike was the fastest bike in world. lol. 7.34 1/8 mi.

Oh what I wouldn't give to be able to find a good deal on a widow maker and actually have money to buy it lol. That bike is #1 on my dream bike list.
I've got a pic somewhere of me directly after my first 6sec 1/8th mile pass on my first trip to the track. Needless to say, I was pretty stoked at stock wheelbase and having never raced a street bike to run 6.7's@115 in the Texas heat lol. Dad was pretty proud too since it made me the 3rd generation of motorcycle drag racers in the family  .

Me too! After I sold my blue 72 H-2 in 1979 I realized what a mistake I made, so a year later bought a 1974. I've been checking out Ebay, people are asking $7,000-$10,000.
