Chain tools
Decided to get rid of the master linc clips and chains on the old bikes, who makes a good quality chain breaker / riveter tool????

which ever you buy take a dremel cut off disc to remove the peening on the link you want to split.this will make the job lots easier and make your chain tool last longer.....

Motion Pro makes a good one & pins are easy to get. Got mine at Cycle Gear. What he said about dremeling the pin.

+1, Motion pro tool is descent. Harbor freight does have one, bur I'm sure it's crap...

You should grind down the pins flush with the side plate (or plates ) before you push the pin out with the chain tool. It is much easier on the tool ( and your arm ) if you do it this way. That is very good advice....... Also don't use impacts on the tool. Instead use a wrench or adjustable wrench........your new chain tool will like you for it and last a long time.
