Gen1/Gen2 ZX-14 engine mounts

Are they the same configuration at the front/top engine mounts?
I've found some frame sliders that are set-up like LSL units were for the ZZR12's,using an offset plate to hang the slider off of.
The slider bolt bends on those units, taking the energy from impact.
I tested them on a lowside up in the Ozarks a few yrs. back.
Anyway, will first gen stuff bolt to second gen at the motor mounts?

These are spendy as hell but close to LSL's if you close your eyes a little...

Everything I've read point to the external dimensions of the engine being the same on the 2 generations of bikes,is this correct? It would infer that the motor mounts placement are in fact the same between them, correct?
This is my first ZX-14 so I don't know.
I have a trip coming up in the twisties and don't want to go without frame sliders if I can mount the early style.
The LSL's I had mounted on my ZZR saved quite a bit of damage,I got away with some plastics rash all down one side, bent bars and a bigass bruise on the hip but rode it home 400 miles the next day.
The ride home sucked.

I remember helping straighten the bent bars . are you going to put risers on the 14 also ?

the gen 1 sliders use a bolt that replaces the motor mount bolt , and the slider comes thru the vents so there is no cutting required. only issue with that is a crash can break the tab on the head during a crash.

LOL,ya Roy you did,I didn't have enough ass and shook pretty good to boot, wasn't one of my better days.
I don't plan to use risers,I'm loving the way I can crawl around on this bike after the C-14 for the last few seasons. That thing was a pig to throw around and you had to really work to get any weight over the front wheel.
I've done a couple of 200+ mile days and my wrists never cried like on the ZZR,that bike has a wicked clip-on angle for my wrists.
Roy,take a look at the sliders I posted the link for and your opinion please,(and anybody else's too)Thnx.

Hey guys, still seeking some input on these Gen1 sliders as far as compatibility to bolt to the Gen2 ZX-14R.
I found them a wee bit cheaper at another site.

I see the large motor mount bolt working on the Gen2 but can't figure where the secondary mount would work at,it's all covered with heat blocking on the Gen2. I've had the top plastic and the grills off on mine but no further.
I don't really know, come on guru's,will these bolt up or not?
I'll have to skip my ration of good scotch for a while but I got wood for these things if they'll fit.
I intend to change out the pucks(don't fancy the style) but that's a small matter.
I've sent LSL an e-mail about 2012 sliders and no answer to date.
Tick/Tock....

That's the ones I have and I have no complaints. They survived the crash that totaled my 06 zx14 and are on my 08 14 now

Huh,I didn't think about the new stroke length and what that would do to the cylinders and motor mounts.

@eklipse,what's your thinking for a fit on the 2012? Where's the smaller bolts fasten/too?
Thanks for yalls time.

I came home from work today with some news from Spiegler, the USA distributor for LSL products.
LSL will not be making/selling a frame slider product for the 2012 ZX-14R .
The e-mail sez they would be to expensive. Major bummer.
I've asked them for permission to post the reply but it will be Monday at least before I get an answer.

The quest continues....

I'm not sure about the 2012, but I got mine off eBay. Don't remember the name on them, but when I go unload the bike in a little bit I will look
