Brocks Pump Gas Map vs Brocks Race Fuel Map

Had a chance to unleash my 14r for the first time at the track. I dont want to post my ET's because i do grudge race from time to time. However i will tell some of the guys on here that i know who are not my local competition the ET's via PM so they can get a better understnading where I am at. On another note all i can say is this MOFO is a beast. All i have is bolt on: Brock's pipe, swing arm, 16/43, ect. Anyways my question is i know MR9 and other race fuels make a little more power i was just wondering has anyone did a comparison to it vs the 89 oct pump gas that brocks recommend. All my runs have been doen with 89 oct in my bike. Thinking of picking some up or any other reccomeneded fuel today and run brocks track map tonight to see if I can gain some E.T. What you guys think?

MR12 should gain you .10 to .20 in the 1/4 depending on your weight and riding, I normally see .15 on my 06 zx14 over pump gas.

We found 8 hp on the dyno back in 2003 with MR 9 (it's oxygenated so it's leaner add 4pts of Power Commander fuel to your map). DO NOT leave the race fuel in your motor, pump it out when you're finished with an electric fuel pump on a 12 volt battery combo as shown, then run some pump gas thru. This doesn't apply to VP C12, 14 etc - nor do the gains. The MR fuels are great but it will mess up the injectors if left for more then a few days.

If you have a tiger tail you can drain it really quick by unhooking the fuel line off the pump and turning your key on and off

The pump i used worked great however the hose i that came with it was real sucky. When repeatedly pulling it out to make sure i get to the lowest part of the tank i notice that some shaving were coming off i don’t think much got in my tank but i am so paranoid with stuff like this.

What is a good grade of hose to use when siphoning gas

I don't use a pump .. I pull the tank , remove the pump and pour it out .. Yes it's a bitch but after a few 100 times of doing it i can do it pretty quick .. I didn't use the pump on mine because it cut the hose everytime .. I don't want all that crap in my tank .. What i did on one zx14 was tap a hole on the pump flange and install an AN fitting and a hose with a valve .. The hose hung down below the swing arm .. Just turn the valve and drain it into a drain pan .. Better yet run pump gas and no worry about it ..
