Guess he posted something else... he has been added to my ignore list, got tired of reading his useless posts.... I couldn't figure out of he was just bumping his post count up or if he really thought he was being productive. Either way it doesn't matter anymore ;-)

nothing, seems like the only solution for now is to go back to the stock sprocket size

Let me ask you guys that are having this problem this .. What i'm reading is some of you guys have a studder with a gear combo of 17/43 only ..Right ? I have run 17/39 17/40 17/41 17/42 and 16/42 16/43 16/44 and not had this studder problem ... As you can see the only gear combo i have not used is the 17/43 that is why i'm asking .. With any of the gear combo listed above that i have used did you have this problem or just 17/43 ..?

I tried 17/43 & 17/44, both gave me the same symptom.

Seno, sorry if you've already answered this as I'm trying to follow along on my blackberry. Have you ever tried just a 16 front? Same problem?

I have not but Greggy did put on a 16T front and reported the same symptoms. I would have tried a 45T rear sprocket but its basically the same thing as using a 16T front.

Yep thats right Seno, just changing the front sprocket to a 16T made my 14R stutter and jumpy just off-throttle in 1st and 2nd gears. Putting the stock 17T back on solved it instantly.

We have to get to the bottom of this! Does anyone know anyone at KHI who would be willing to listen to our findings as I'm sure if there is an issue lurking in these 14R's that KHI themselves would love to fix it.

Sounds like something to be taken up with cooperate. If you take it to the dealership theyll start blaming it on every mod on the bike.
