1st dyno run

Was at Honda East saturday to discuss with the service manager my feelings about their service of my motorcycle, he was very apologetic and made things right. They were also having their open house and had $10 dyno sessions. No AFR or RPM hook ups but a run nonetheless. I was hoping to see a much bigger # but how would your interprut my chart?

42psi in tires and my bike was the first run of the day. Did 4 pulls and this was the best. My bike is a 50 state bike but have been told that shouldn't matter.

hoping the dyno is stingy, my friends piped tuned on MR12 gen 1 drag busa makes 178 on this dyno.

My bike made 181 SAE on the first pull. Changed the oil to <<0 Alisyn w/Petron additive, per Brock, and it made 189. I think my oem oil was like gear grease, lol. Set tire psi to 33 for dyno pulls.

My bike is pretty fast...don't let that first dyno pull discourage you! That is still by far the most you will see out of any stock motored bike!

That is the understatement of the year.

I put honda GN10-40 in it at 100 miles, appears dealer did the same last week for the 600 service. I didn't have the TC off, it was on F1.

The Honda oil is very good stuff. I have used it for many years!

TC must be off for dyno pulls. My bike would hardly run, otherwise.

I have been using it since we swapped over on the dyno at about 100 miles on the clock. The bike has around 1150 miles on it now, and I just went on a 100 mile street ride. If you have any worries you could run the Alisyn 0-20.

That is good power espcially if you have it stock. Adding a PCV and pipe will give you good gains. Also, MR12 does give a few hp.

My 09' made 187 on the dyno with pipe, PCV, 13.5:1 pistons and a good tune. I have ~15k miles on the bike. I have not rode it much lately since it is 100+ here.

Check out this posting..... Shows your bike is right with the other ones they been dyno. Amazing numbers for stock! Add a pipe, PCV and tune by Johnny Cheese gets 211hp
