quote: Was a fix ever found for this? I have a 2014 only 3 months old and just went one up on the rear and have the exact same issue in 2nd gear 3500 to 4500 rpm it is very noticeable.
No, several had worked towards curing this issue but never did. I know if Don Guhl had a bike to keep over there he could probally cure this gremlin.. Just needs time. I too wish someone would find a fix for this 43t issue.

My 2014 is doing this with a +1 rear. Everyone I've talked to about it thinks I'm bat shit crazy for thinking a sprocket would affect fueling, but it did, I swear! Slip on yoshimira, but otherwise stock.

Test.
If you have a TRE 08 resistor which will keep Bike locked in 6th gear on your display movement of timing maps based on RPM and gear become less of a issue inside the ECU. My guess is sensitivity or the check sum of the #'s is not as great in the higher gears.
Mine had the issue. SB6 locked into 6th. Happy. Needed more testing to confirm 100% but snow is playing a role.

With +one on rear of my 2024 Zx14 it was real bad in 2nd gear around 3500 to 5500 rpm's. I put back on stock gear and problem would disappear completely. I really wanted the gearing changed so I left the +1 on rear and then went -1 on front and the problem is 95% gone I can live with that
