Another exciting player and very good friend has joined the 'HT' Team....Presenting Cameron, "The Plastic Surgeon" - not only a millwright of plastic, Cam is a designer/fabricator and welder extraordinaire!! Cam will be removing the turn signals, filling the bodywork and doing some other sexy plastic mods to make this 14 streamliner even sleeker. Cam did all the work on the 1270 yrs ago, he removed and filled all the turn signals etc. and even built the 'one piece' rear tail section that was 2 pieces (and a sloppy fit) from the factory.......Cam built the 2000cc Chromeless Cruiser hard bags, an unreal task. He cut the original Honda Valkyrie bags in half, welded in 4" extensions, then he removed all the hardware and installed 'rare earth' magnets in the tops to keep them looking slick and to keep them in place over the bumps. He also designed the half turn pop off removal system - it was brilliant..........Cam's a champion and a wonderful guy, we love him - seriously, I love Cameron.
Cheers,
Cliff

LMAO,Cliff you better get a run-truck to haul the spare Q2's around.
Great tire but they ain't gonna' hold up in the real world where you pile miles.
If you stare at your bikes mostly I can see it.
I'm going RoadSmart 2 or PR3's for the mileage component. I have 3,800 on the Metz 5's and just seeing the rear wear bars(bought it 7 weeks ago),I hate the way the front follows asphalt seams/construction strips in the pavement.
Otherwise,a decent tire for OEM.
I usually ride with Dunlop on whatever but don't find a 190/55 rear tire in the RS2 line-up and want the taller profile. Still pondering the PR3. I did have both generations of RS's on my C-14 and found them to be a great tire.I ran the first gen RS on my ZZR12 before I low-sided and dinged it a tad.
I have Q2's mounted on the ZED12 now as it's a local ride.

Thanks SG.........I love these Dunlops, always have - they just get better and better every year. However that said, other than the odd 200+mph run at Mirabel A/P (we'll be geared for 224mph) and maybe a track day or two at Mosport (if they'll let me out) this baby will receive 50 hrs of detailing & staring, for every 1 hr it's showcased and or ridden.........What's better than a night in the shop in mid-February with all your toys, your buddies, cold beers, cigars and bright lights - priceless!
I'd like to introduce my good friend Mark from Fireball Performance Coatings in Erin, Ontario. Mark has joined the build and together with his team they will be applying a very sexy 'satin black' ceramic surfacing to our 'one-off' Muzzy 4 into 1 into 2 Ti/CF exhaust, including the caps - should look nasty.

Busy day for UPS - Christallmighty I can't get any work done around here! I'd like to welcome two of the best in the business to our exponentially growing build, Sidi & Arai. I've often said, your safety ensemble is as important to these projects as the bikes or the sleds themselves, nobody does it better than these guys. We'll be getting together with IM Leather this weekend to design the quasi 'sport touring' 2 piece (zip together) leather suit for the bike.....Ensemble you say? Must have been that 10 year stint I did as an international fashion model.

Thanks SG.......It took me 60 years to get it right!!! I designed and built a custom home with a 4 car garage, all heated, with 1 bay set-up as a washing facility, with floor drains in the concrete and waterproof drywall. TV and sound system thru-out......I live in my garage, seriously, I spend hrs entertaining, washing and just staring at my stuff - love it!

cruising at 120 to 130 kph, with the occasional burst over 200kph the 14r will do 365 km before running out of gas,the last 50km was at a very conservative speed.(the gas station was at km 375)

Thanks very much,

This is cool - Ballistic Battery from Austin Texas has come on board the HT project with the long awaited Lithium battery for the 14R, it weighs 3lbs. Let me see now, 11-3= (carry the 4) 8!!!! That's an 8lbs saving with 500CCA.....Unreal. Should be here later this week, I'll get it on the scale with a pic as soon as it arrives.

Thanks Darryl.....Jerry at Ballistic tells me it's their latest and greatest rendition (huge evolution here) "16 cell" HD EV02.
4.8" long, 3.4" wide and 5.8" high - should be a perfect fit in your 14 box, in fact any bike.......When the Li arrives I'll maybe make a short U-tube video with the battery in the 2000cc Honda Chromeless Cruiser - lots of compression here, currently she needs a very well charged battery to start, otherwise you push the button and there's nothing - not good on Sunday morning..........We'll see if the Li will fire this badboy up in our deep Canadian cold!!

Good question - I'm not sure if the Kappa bag kit fits the new R bike, I'm thinking it may have been built for the older model. Regardless, we're going to modify the stuff we get to fit our own 'flatter design'. I Don't want the bags on as much of an angle as I see with most. In order to correct it, we'll probably 're-hang' & cut the Muzzy CF cans down, to get that 'GP look'.

Spoke to Muzzys last night, Ti & CF exhaust (4 into 1 into 2) is shipping out Friday, along with all the other Muzzy goodies, can't wait......John Connery & House of Kolor are busy painting the cow hides (for our sport/touring suit), Arai helmet, Sidi boots and the Alpinestar gloves, as I write this note. I'll post pics as we progress..........2+ weeks the 2013 should be here and immediately attacked!!

Just got a call from Robert at Spiegler Performance Parts in Ohio, he's not only full of enthusiasm for the HT project, but Rob's also got the "sexy hydralic lines" we were looking for ready to go in a 14r kit. I'm thinking gold lines with gold fittings - yah baby yah!.........Great to have the Spiegler team on board.

Just picked up the first House of Kolor 'painted' hide from John Connery, who sprayed it yesterday. Truly amazing how he does it, even more amazing is the fact that the last suit they painted for me (2000 Muzzy Kawasaki 1270) is now 12 yrs old and still looks great - except for the track rash!
The sport touring suit that IM Leathers is designing and building will be black with gold slashes thru it, much like the bike itself, very sexy, vogue look. House of Kolor is also painting the Arai helmet, Sidi boots and my Alpinestar gloves with gold highlights etc. Should be unreal when we roll this baby out in HofK black/gold ice metallic - with gold wheels & trim.
Have a good weekend,

Kappa bags arrive next Tuesday (pic attached) we'll paint the hard shells with HofK black/ ice gold metallic and 'gold out' the centre trim bar and the ring around the logo.
Fabric tank bag (gas cap mounted) and the rear tail bag (to be secured via a custom mounting system with 1/4 turn fasteners drilled right thru a metal plate in the bottom of the bag and right thru the rear seat - no bungee cords) will be dressed up by adding nicely finished gold leather pieces (following the stitch lines) to accent the bags and tie them into the overall bike design. Should be very, very cool..........BTW - at 200mph plus, stuff need to be secure!
Cheers,
