Hey, Cliff. As my Fathers '10 ZZR got stolen last year in France he's now orderd new '13 model and should get it before X-mas. He used to have Kappa Bags on it but as it is Givi/Kappa don't offer fittings for the R model. I tried to look you pictures but couldn't really see where you had to cut the plastics and how much? Is in only around the top back fitting? Or was there cutting anywhere else. Do you have better pictures of the actual modification? Could you post those so I could see how much there is to modificate. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for asking, sorry I was out of town.......You need to do a little 'finessing' of the rear seat cap and the rear side panels. You'll also find that you need to 'cut and bend' the rear upper sub-frame piece where the bag frame goes thru to clear everything. Not a big job and no one will ever notice the changes if you put some w/s trim on the plastic cuts, or repaint.

Relax guys, the internet is full of BS, why I've even seen Jesus 'dissed' here!! Bottom-line on the HT Project, for 1000 Muzzy dollars it's a demonstrated winner, making 245rwhp any time you want it, and it's tuned to perfection by Dan @ Champion Cycle, a n2o expert......What's that turbo cost again Richard? BTW - trash talking other tuners is for losers.

You've won me over Cliff!

In all seriousness, you did do well overall. It takes some hustle to get manufacturers to donate product so you must have some game.

Tell my pal Wolfman I said hi the next time you cross paths with him. Top off your N2O bottles... I think Romes is stuffing a Garrett in his scooter.

So many haters, that's why a lot of people left these boards :/.

I think the bike looks sick, even if its not a 65" track monster that runs 7's.

Snowing like crazy up here in Toronto and -5 degrees C.........Get the sleds out kids for some serious fun that even an idiot can enjoy - you just floor it, then pull the chute to stop!!

Do ya ever run in on the drag strip? I haven't ever participated in that sort of thing but then we don't have many snow sleds in Alabama. LOL

Yes and thanks for asking.........We run it on ice in a quarter mile, however our NBSSR sanctioned event is top speed centric. These babies fly and in most cases will put a bike on the trailer very quickly simply because they hook up and will not (under most circumstances) wheelie.......Fun to tune with a big n2o shots on a 1000cc two stroke motor - it's everything or nothing, chicken or feathers and crazy when you get it right.
Cheers,
Cliff

However, the parasitic losses via drive train are considerable. While I dont have data in front of me it seems sleds, when compared to scooters, suffer heavily.

In talks with Motorcyclist Magazine tomorrow am, regarding a story on the HT project. Seems the industry is warming up to this new 'hyper touring' venue.
