You missed the point of the shot - rule #1 when you're building a 'bought bike' - remember your sponsors!! Arai, Sidi, Alpinestar, IM Leathers all part of the program, I'm just the maniquin.

It looks very well done and without the sponsorship this would have never happened. Personally it is not my "niche", but I respect the work and the project concept. Hey, if I could get a bunch of sponsorship to build a "concept bike", shit I would do it and sell it for a boatload of $$$$$$. Getting paid to do what you love is not work IMHO.

Looks good but the part of the bodywork where mirrors were should have also be cleaned and painted like the blinkers - then it would look really good.

I only ask because the passenger pegs, shifter, rear brake pedal, and pegs & guards drove me Bananas until I could finally find time to get them powdered. I actually used the passenger pegs from a new ZX10 that was sitting on the showroom floor.
Did you address this, or are the still stock?
I guess it was addressed with photoshop.

Is it for sale? If it has a clean title I get a cash price for the bike, and please factor in taking those silly dunlops off. I can heat gun the stickers off but i don't even want those tires in my driveway =)
I'll eat the cost of taking that exhaust off and putting a real brock's header on too
if I ride it, it'll go all over north america and you'll get credit for the build. my current Kawi sport tourer is a '10 model with over 67,000 miles on it, and thats with other bikes in the stable being ridden.

Lots of hate over this.
As his 'different' aproach has been to rattle a few cages. His condescending attitude annoyed most people.
The final product and build, to me at least, looks nice.
I'd say, give the guy some credit. Must have spent a lot of hours on the dog and bone and been let down more times than we know.
Some real companies have fronted up with the goods 'for free' and in todays world, that takes a lot work to get people to commit for a 'view'.
And if he got what he wanted and he managed to get other people to pay for it - isn't that what we would all want, thruthfully...?
It's tough to have a job, pay the bills and scrimp and save for the bolton's that 'everybody' seems to be buying...
Isn't America the land of opportunity? He had a vision/chance, took it, and got it.
I like the idea of having NOS inside hidden away in a normal looking hard bag. Maybe one hard bag is ok for storage, better than nothing.
I think you're a bit hard there SteveWFL. Granted 'after' the stickers have gone - i don't think anyone on BL would be ashamed to ride around on that bike.
Like a ZX14 Concours on steroids...

Obba, I was being sarcastic about the stickers (and exhaust too), but i was serious about him iving me a shot at buying it at the end of the day when he's of to his next creation. Of course I may get shrugged off (understandably) or he may shoot m a hi-ball price.
But I'd like to have a shot at it anyway
My Concours14 has over 67,000 miles on it. On the first part of this thread i beat the guy up over this project idea, but seeing the final product.....

Well all those sponsor stickers take away from the looks of the bike. I know you have to display them but it would be much cleaner without them and it wouldn't take anything away from the black & gold combination. I could even learn to like the bags. Good work

Thanks gentlemen, everyone that matters (sponsors and the mags) love this bike!
The majority of the sponsorship ink 'stickers' - as important as they are for this and the next project(s) - will only be removed once the bike has had it's full 15 minutes. The HT will then join the others in my private collection...........Look for the full story on this fabulous build in CycleWorld Mag over the next few months.
