Purpose of this bike - First to have fun with a design I've been thinking about for 2 years, second to inspire the industry with another very cool concept build. It took the cruiser world 8 yrs to 'get' my original 'Chromeless cruiser design' - they all make them now........Who knows, maybe one day the manufacturer's will do away with those ugly slow compromise 'sport touring' designs, and give us what we really want, sexy, race bikes with lights and BAGS!

Regarding the stability concern - as a former pilot, you ride thru it baby!

Muzzy system is in the trunk so soliniod and regulator connections etc have to be extended........Set-up the 'rich map' to fire when the juice hits at WOT in 4th, 5th and 6th only, then return to 'Autotune' when I'm back "on the motor".........Lastly, wash all my cars and truck at 2AM every morning!!!!!!
Prettty sexy stuff, having fun.

Firstly, very sorry to hear about the tragedy in Connecticut yesterday, a little prayer to the fallen tonight.....Quick question - Is anyone using a Muzzy n2o kit with a Muzzy air-shifter on a 2012 or 2013 ZX4? Thanks.

Been watching this project for awhile now and no disrespect to you Cliff but what exactly is the point? You have not improved on the basic design or added any body work. Basically taking a zx14R adding some paint and bags. You call it a hyper tourer which is basically useless as a tourer because you have all the NOS stuff in the bags. Sorry but I don't get the point of this project. Is it just to see how many bolt on parts you can add to a ZX14?

Well said!

This will be my only post in this thread as I think, as most members on this board do, that this thread and build add up to one big joke.

If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Tough crowd!...........As mentioned in past, as long as I can pack my credit card I'm ready to go anywhere anytime. This project is about excitment, it's just for fun guys, relax and enjoy it, besides why not push the envelope and build something a little different.
All the best for the Holidays gentlemen.
Cheers,
Cliff

If it wasn't for the muzzy sticker I would think you were using you ht to ride to the ocean for some scuba diving.

Too far for me cliff. cliff seriously there's nothing there to do justice fo.r it's a zx 14 with saddle bags and bst wheels been around since 06. Paints nothing new either I know what that paint looks like in person. I did a Busa for my buddy 4 years ago in flat black with a matte clear over it that had silver flakes in it had all matte gold graphics. it is cool paint. cheers.

Ignoring the good paint/bad paint discussion, are you riding it before the Toronto show Cliff? You hinted that it's a design exercise, a shop window for various products and your own ideas but I'm sure there are quite a number of people, me included, who'd like to know how it performs.

Thanks Bob, no the bike will just be finished in time for the Show, and seeing that it's Winter here in Toronto, we'll get to the photo studio in Feb for some pics then onto the pavement in May, Champion Cycle's Dyno in June and hopefully Mirabel Airport for a 200mph+ pass in July.
Cheers,
Cliff

Nailed it!! That’s the look I wanted…..Mark at FireBall Performance Coatings in Erin Ontario took Muzzy’s Ti pipes and applied his proprietary US military ‘ceramic’ coating which when combined with the CF cans, is perfect.......How about those gold logos by House of Kolor - unreal.

if that paint has the house of kolor ice pearl in it it will deflect radar. It is made of some sort of weird glass that seems to interfere with radar band reflection.
