Painted the rad satin black tonight - looks great, IMO a must do with this bike.....Next year we'll fill it with water, along with 5 oz of water wetter, and enjoy the summer!

Correction, that was a 3/4" trim rim on the wheels, not 3.4". Pics later today.

Lenny at A Plus Trim finished my seat today with a very factory look and similar no slip material - fabulous job!
I'm having problems with PhotBucket however I hope to get a pic up asap.

Cliff, the new Photobucket app. is buggy as hell,it's in Beta.
Look up towards the upper right coner and revert to the old style,it'll be all good.
I had troubles with it today myself. The new deal looks nice but doesn't click.

"And in the gold corner, from parts unknown, weighing in at....." Weighed my stock wheels vs the BST C/F today. Rear rim with Bridgestone 190, sprocket and no disc, 32lbs vs BST c/f rim with Dunlop Q2 200 at 23lbs = 9lbs saving. Front stock rim no discs, 18lbs vs BST c/f at 13lbs = 5lbs savings. Total savings of 14lbs.......Now as impressive as that is, a physicist would tell you that at speed, the rolling mass could be as much as 4-5 times the 14lbs - that's significant.
Just getting the brake rotors painted gold then I'll post a pic of these beautiful BST wheels built with WorldWide Bearings.Com ceramic bearings and Dunlop Q2 rubber.

Guys - quick question, I'll be running 18/40 gearing and need to correct the speedo (I think - depends how far out it is) does anyone know of a 'speedo correction kit' for the new 2012/13 bike......Muzzy's unit doesn't work with the new model 14. Thanks.

Cliff no need to worry about the speedo being off, the sensors mounted on the discs take care of that. Therefore you can go with any gearing you want and the speedo will not be off.

ECU just arrived back from Don Guhl - 4 days start to finish Canada to US back to Canada. Can't wait to enjoy it!
Photobucket

Up-date........I'll be picking up more of John Connery's House of Kolor paint work tomorrow (brake rotors, George Foreman's etc) watch for the pics.
Robbie at Tricked Toys is building me a fabulous Muzzy n2o 'story board' with all the equipment (regulator, solenoid, custom manifold, pressure guage etc) mounted in one saddle bag along with the carbon fiber 4.5lbs bottle, we'll then run all the pressure lines thru the bag and up under the bodywork. I'll be firing my juice with a mechanical throttle body switch that hits when I'm WFO, the switch will also trigger an 'overlay map' on my PC5 which will add 25pt of fuel or so (TBD by our EGTs) at 80-100% of throttle. When I come off the throttle, the map instantly reverts to my Dynojet A/F Auto Tune set-up, of approx 13.2 to 1. FYI - from my experience, the n2o shot will more than likely run about 12 to 1......Should be a really cool look when we open the side hard bag!!! Pics to follow asap.
Cheers,
Cliff

Grills are done as well........Sadly the available light I had when I shot the wheels and the grill today wasn't the best - the gold is much richer live.

Mounted our Muzzys airshifter tonight.....Robbie at Tricked Toys did a little machining to smooth out the operation a bit, then drilled the shifter arm for less moving parts and a cleaner look.

So I go into the MOT today to get my license plate for the new 14, I hand the girl my 84 bucks for the longest term plate I can buy (2 yrs) in Ontario. She hands me the next plate off the pile and my green sticker, I leave never even looking at it. I get into my Hummer and check the plate - WTF "1414Z" with a 2014 sticker!! That's what I call serious karma.
