@LEO FIRST THING...check your meter bracket bolts...make sure they're tight....I would recommend loctiting them RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!Only takes a minute.
SECOND THING...go over your bike completely with a nice mild cleaner,cotton cloth(s)...and a nice new high quality polish...Meguiars or something.....be very careful with your SE to go easy on the wheels...they have a coating on the metal to protect it....so don't scratch those when you're cleaning.

Thanks guys!!!! Just enjoying being back on the road in the 14 family. I missed my old bike ('07) after I sold it until now. The 14R is definitely worthy of the attention it has attracted. Smiling inside my helmet again.

wait till you got it broke in (around 800 to 1000 miles.Then if you got the balls and skill you can power wheelie 1,2,3 gears.The bike is fucking relentless at accelerating.I rode mine 200 miles in the twisty s today.i finished up the break - in ....this bike is FUCKING EVIL.It will try to kill you so hang on.......................

Yes and it is easy to use and was a must have for me as I travel a lot so it comes in really handy 3 states from home. Had one on my "07 also. The only tweak needed then was adding a rubber damped stop so it would not hit the mid-pipe on the pipe I installed.
Here you go with how I did it on the "old" bike:
If I can't sort out the same set up on the "12 then I will cut the OEM stop from the right side muffler and fab it onto my pipe when it shows up in about 6 weeks.

Not done with my break in yet, but no doubt your observations are true as this thing is more fun < 5,000 rpm than most bikes maxed out.

Thanks! It was a long wait watching all the other guys get their 14R's, but well worth it to ride out owning the bike outright.
