I tried this with my 12, and someone actually gave me full asking price. Dammit! Needless to say, my/his pristine 2003zx12R was a wad of used parts within 3 weeks. I really hate that guy for destroying 'his' bike.

That's why I try to sell to people I will never see again. The further away they take my baby the better.
Also, the trick to not missing the thing you sold is finding the correct and most suitable replacement.. whether that means the newer version of the same thing, brand or function,.. or finding a new thing or activity to fill the previous thing or activities time slot. It's all about the right substitution.
Now if i could find some suitable replacements for the things I hate.. yard work, home repairs, crappy neighbors and their even crappier yards.
