calling out Shiptheey.....
looks like we have a race setup for sunday.... After Ali agreed to the race I told him who was riding the other bike. I have never heard him back-pedal this bad.
I dont think he wants to race someone his size ....
anyone within driving distance is encouraged to witness/video the event

Ali has committed to be down here for the race. He is good for his word.
he is racing CrewChief ( Jake), not me ...
I will just be there to collect some cash :-)

Well, I guess you could say we all won, but that would be not quite the truth. See, one of the bikes decided today was the day it was gonna throw in the towel. Laps and a stopwatch it is.
Ali went first. A respectable time, but nothing to write home about. He was in fact the leader at this time. Jake was next and you guessed it, now he's winning. Roy followed with a quicker time, so he took the lead. I hadn't been on the course yet, so I took a couple laps warm up, and I took the lead. After some more turns and lead changes, Jake was winning. In the end, we decided to go ahead and call it. Jake ended up the quickest (but Roy ended up catching the most air) and it was time for dinner and beer.
Roy, thanks for dinner. Ali, be careful on the way home tomorrow. Coming in 4th wouldn't be so bad, if there had been more than 4 in the race.
