Ouch!!

My buddy that I sold my Zx10r to had the motor let go on him today at the PMRA race. Not sure what happened yet, he went to launch and made it about 10 feet and it went boom.

One thing for sure is no oil change and set of plugs are going to fix that .. Good thing it happened at the starting line and not the top end of the track .. Looks like a rod made up its mind to run away from home ..

Lol, he's owned the bike over a year and put a lot of hard passes on it. I did offer to loan him the 14 for a couple of months so he could finish out the race season. Makes me sick that it let go on him, he said it gave ZERO warning at all. Bike did have 20,000 HARD miles. It was a dragbike since about 3,000 miles.

A little bondo & rattle can will fix that. Then sell it on craigslist...low miles, never ridden in the rain, oil change every thousand miles, wife making me sell, you know the standard stuff.
