Test Guhl Flash

Just received my ECU today.

1. The traction control stays off yepee
2. Bad weather so could not do a proper test, but the bit I did was impressive.
3. First gear is nearly impossible to handle, wow. Don't know how you would do a proper launch without the front weel coming up. I dont think I even took half throttle before she lifts.
4. In second gear the same thing happens without any difficulty. This bike will have to be handled with respect.
5. My zx 12 feels tame compared to the 14r.

My advice get the Don Guhl flash asap.

Only downside is the courier company UPS. Unhappy with the way I was treated by the branch in Johannesburg - South Africa.

Does this flash now include the TRE feature in the first 3 gears, timing advance, top-speed limiter, and it keeps the traction control and power settings even when the bike is turned off? Is there anything else worth waiting for that's coming for a street rider?

I actually think it's a cool bike but I'll stick w/my Versys for that role. Best public road bike going for commuting and practical all-rounder.

Now, any informative, useful responses? Ya' putz...Ha!

I saw he was working on it. I reckon it's time to call both fella's and go from there. I want to wait until I can get it all done at once w/o driving them crazy in the process. Sounds like we may be there.

Thanks.

Yes flies stay open and safety feature from ecu disabled now. Acc to Don derestricted also in first 3 gears [He also did Ivan's flash for him but with his own custom ignition map].
TC stays off and you can even change it on the go. Also topspeed derestricted with his flash.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Riaanish is your bike SWB or streteched

Mods is Brock AH 2; PCV with street map; Newest Guhl reflash.
SWB, as I said very difficult to keep the front down now. Low down is great now. I will be doing a top speed run one of these days, just waiting for the event here. I will post the speed etc. It won't be a official measured speed but it will give a good indication what to expect under normal street conditions. Few guys with modded 14's that is eagter to see what I can do. Unfortunately they will never reveal their true mods. Also fitted the 40 rear sprocket to see if a better launch is possible. Now I understand why a streched swingarm is necessary.

All the company's offer their own tunes/flash.
Guhl my do the flash for Ivan and Brock but they each have their own programming.
