new shock and ecu reflash results

Went to the track at Sac raceway Saturday night with revalved shock and ecu reflash.I'm using MRX01 brocks sidewinder, msd sb6,16-43 gear,67"wb,47's,ported head,re degree'd cams.I weigh apprx 190 suited.bike weighs 440lbs.well first 2 runs were bad,1.37- 60' and 9.22@144 MPH.WTF?? second pass 1.37- 60' 9.29@143mph OK I'm thinking something is way off. maybe fuel is old?? maybe the reflash is way wrong?? So I decided to drain the tank and flush it out with a little MR12 then added 3 cups.Go back out 1.38- 60' 9.00@147mph.Ok so the fuel changed a little bit. I decided to change maps,I used a Brocks map made for no flies, baffle out. went back out 1.34- 60' 8.82@153mph..now we r getting somewhere, noticed I had a lean pop between shifts so I pulled up the map and added 5% to the WOT column. went back out 1.33-60' 8.65@156mph also pulled my best 1/8th mile ET on motor 5.49@129mph. Looks like the shock is working great with a little more tweaking it will be sweet.I am definetly going back to the dyno to straighten this thing out in the next few weeks. I would like to Thank Andy at Village Motorsports for the reflash and rear shock off his 2012 ZX-14 and also Lonny at BMC racing shocks for the revalve job.

Good times! I would think if you get it tuned with your mods it should pick up seems like it slowed up on the back half. that 1/8th mile will support a pass inthe 8.50's

no head lights, Catalyst body work,zx10 front fender, fabbed my own subframe with aluminum square tubing,ZX10 wheels and 1 rotor and caliper up front. I also add 3 cups fuel with an empty tank then add 1 cup after every pass. I have a McIntosh swingarm on the bike now and it is a bit heavier then I like but its strong as hell.

Way to go on the weight reduction. I just can't bring myself to do that to my 14's but certainly appreciate the effort it takes others to do it. You'll run faster than you have already. Without a doubt. Keep us updated please.
