At The 1/4 Mile
Its over 100 degrees, da is 3800ft, been 5 weeks since ive raced, two passes 8.85@153 mph, their racing till midnight, a 8.70+ would be fun

Sam and Dave are out in the nasty stuff too. They called and said it was 97 trackside. That's why I'm not there. Too old and fat for the hot stuff. Summer is definitely here.

Without the racers there would be no show.
If anything, racers should get a discount.

what wee not telling and i read on another forum was ...the guy only rented the track for the day light time .. all those NT/PT grudge racers wanted time trails and racing after dark with no times posted ...and nobody from the tower to tell times...[secret info stuff]..thus they pooled money together to keep the track running later ... i'm sure the fans loved the show without times ..

its like that all the time around here. no times shown ever except in bracket races. thats part of the mystery with grudge bikes is you know they are fast but you dont know how fast. around here most grudge racers just stand around and argue and begg all night. then when the track announces its closing they rush to the line to try to get their race off and complain about the track closing. im getting tired of the whole grudge scene.

the race was advertised to start time trials at 12pm and classes to follow, it started at almost 3pm, There were allot of spectators, they enjoyed sitting in the stands after 7pm when the temps were better watching nothing go down the track lol, enjoyed it so much they left,
Where do you think a promoter makes his money? From racers? Nope it's from spectators, kinda felt bad for them when the racing shut down and the temps were good, with the very small amount of grudge racers that showed it wasn't a race for the fans,
Also felt bad for the racers that showed and payed at 6pm made 2 runs and were told now pay $50 to run again, the gate didn't mention that, we'll see if that happens at the next KOTT

I'll tell you how bad it's getting around here .. Friday night bracket program 2 people showed up ... 10 to 15 years ago we would have 50 bikes , 75 super pro cars , 150 pro cars , 200 street ET cars .. We would start at racing 6:00 pm and sometime not get done till 3:00 am ..
