ZX14 clutch springs question.

Who offers the stiffest clutch springs for the 14? The new bike is making enough power that it just instantly blew through the clutches and ruined them as soon as the rear tire hooked enough at the track to not just blow it away. I've got to put some nasty springs in the bike next week so we can actually try to get a time out of the bike. Got a Hays clutch in the works but need something in the short run.

Not sure 100% but a little over 300 rings a bell. I believe it trapped over 170 with the previous owner with a Hays and he's 6'4" and 300+ pounds. I just need whatever is the strongest available until I get the Hays from him. I didn't think I wanted or needed the Hays. Now I realize I do. I know it's not ideal. Just got to try something next week.

I'm sure you're right but the Busa is holding with nasty springs and it's making almost 300 as well. Just hoping for a miracle I guess.

Thanks. I know it's throwing money away and I truly appreciate you trying to keep me from doing so. I've just got to get some numbers on this bike.

Thanks quick6 and dakota. I'll call Adams first thing Monday morning.

Quick6, did you use stock clutch plates when you put down 290 or did you have some plates with a higher friction material? Which brand did you use if not stock? I know I'm asking a lot from them. Thanks.

Sam's on the phone with Robert (sold us the bike) as I write this trying to negotiate a deal to get the Hay's clutch here next week. Thanks guys, I know I need the Hays or other lockup style clutch.
