progressive lowering springs

I did a search and I could not find anyone with experience with the drop in springs from progressive suspension. I don't want to drop the forks through the trees because of the oil pan and horn issues and I am not an expert at taking apart a fork so this is the option I want to try first. Has anyone used them? Good? Bad?

sorry for a slight hi-jack. how far can you drop the forks before it becomes a problem with the oil pan? What is the horn issue?

Anymore than 3/4" and your Flirting with disaster. I think I am between 3/4-1" but I have a lowered pan and my exhaust is crushed to shit and back.
